There are some moments that occur in life where you begin to reevaluate your current position and wonder if things are where they should. I strongly believe that everything is placed in front of you for two reasons: to learn a lesson, and to bring out the best in you. There are many factors that play into each, however at the end, you learn the hard way through pain and struggles, or you become the person you are suppose to transform into. And all this occurs as you live life and face multiple and varies experiences.

The wonderful thing about love is that it’s a risk and you truly never know how things will turn out. The great thing about it is that it teaches you a lesson AND it brings out the best in you. Things that you never knew you were capable of achieving or doing. All through the acts of love and for the amazing feeling it presents itself.

For every good there is evil, where there is sweet, there is something sour. So ultimately, there is the wonderful gift from God: the power of will. Where you are able to choose between the two. When facing life, you never know what the end result will be until you take a chance, take that risk. But after taking many chances, risking the only pieces that you have carried along after lessons learn or lessons lost-You are afraid of repeating something in life not because you don’t want to learn from it, but because you fear you were wrong on what the first lesson was truly about.

When you think you have it figured out, you truly don’t. That’s when things start to hit you in the face. When you start thinking that life seems to make sense and be perfect, that’s when you realize once more, that it’s not. It’s not bad to be hopeful and dream. Instead encourage it. However, embrace heartache and embrace the struggles.

But never settle for less than what your heart desires and what your mind tells you are worthy of. First love yourself than others will love you too. If you feel like you are loved less for being true to yourself, that is where you will utilize the power of will. Make a choice and take a stand for what you believe in. Trust your instinct and follow your heart, no matter what society thinks, what your family thinks, or how people may judge you. You are the carrier of your heart and God is the only one that can judge you.

I was inspired by a save-the-date to write about my recent thoughts….
